REGIONAL HELI SERVICE, s.r.o was established in 1997 with the primary objective of providing helicopter emergency medical services within the Region of Zilina, Slovakia.
        With the transition of the emergency medical service system in the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Health awarded our company a private medical facility licence to provide emergency medical care by air ambulance.
        At the present time we employ 35 fully trained and qualified personnel with differing fields of expertise.
        Our company utilizes the BELL 206 L4T helicopter, which is certified in the A-1 category. This certification allows it´s use in both Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and commercial flight operations under VFR day/night conditions (Visual Flight Rules).
        Even though our aircraft meet all of the stringent criteria of the Joint Aviation Authorities within the European Union (JAA), we continue the modernization and expansion of our fleet.
        Our base of operation is situated within the grounds of Zilina hospital. It includes crew facilities, dispatch centre, air ambulance, hangar and heliport. The location of our facility enables our aircraft to respond within moments of dispatch.
